Crosby Memorial Park: Camp adjacent to Serpent Lake and enjoy all the advantages of this beautiful park. Located just a few blocks from bike, canoe & kayak rentals, pizza, sandwiches, ice cream cones and fabulous fudge. Nearby downtown for antique shopping, gift stores, convenience stores and gas stations.

Portsmouth Campground: Camp at Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area at the Portsmouth Campground. 17 sites are available during the regular camping season. Reservations are not needed. All rustic sites will be first-come, first-served and campers can self-register on site.
The campground is located on the northwest shore of the Portsmouth Mine Lake (352 feet deep).
Mine lakes stocked with trout are excellent for fishing, scuba diving and canoeing/kayaking. Nearby attractions include the Croft Mine Historical Park, and the Cuyuna Range Historical Museum.

Although camping is available year-round, after mid-September, the gate to the campground is closed. If you want to camp in the late fall or winter, call the park for instructions and information. Please note that no water or bathroom facilities will be available in the campground from mid-September to early May.
CUYUNA STATE RECREATION AREA ALSO MANAGES TWO DNR FORESTRY CAMPGROUNDS AND ONE DAY-USE AREA: These facilities include the Clint Converse campground in Land o'Lakes State Forest and Greer Lake Campground and Pelican Beach Day-use area in Crow Wing State Forest. Camping is first-come, first-served. The cost per campsite is $10/night. Campgrounds at Clint Converse and Greer Lake are open year-round.
